Four decades. Countless Hill Country summers. More than a few finicky furnaces, stubborn pipes, and “it-stopped-working-at-midnight” calls. And through all of it — you’ve trusted us to show up. That means more to us than we can say.
This May, 72 Degrees Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing is turning 40, and we’re not celebrating with a press release. We’re celebrating with you, right here in the community that made us who we are.
Come As You Are, The Coffee is On Us.
Stop by our Open House on Friday, May 8th anytime during the morning and pull up a chair. We’ll have coffee and donuts ready, a few friendly faces you probably already know, and a whole lot of gratitude for the community that’s kept the lights (and the AC) on for 40 years.
At 10:00 AM, the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce will join us for an official ribbon cutting ceremony to mark this milestone. It’s a big deal to us, and we’d love for you to be there.
What to Expect:
Beyond the coffee and good company, the morning will include:
- Giveaways and prizes, because 40 years deserves a little fanfare
- Yard games and family-friendly fun for all ages
- A chance to meet the Wizard himself! And obvi, photo ops very much included
- Socialize with members of our Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce
- The ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00 AM
The Family Behind Our Magic
We’re especially honored that our founders, Daniel and Jeanette Schneider, will be joining us for this celebration. What they built in 1986, right here in the Texas Hill Country, wasn’t just an HVAC and plumbing company. It was a promise to show up for neighbors, do the job right, and treat every home like it was their own.
Their son Brad carries that same spirit forward as part of our team today. We’ll also be joined by past leadership Jennifer Schneider, extended family, and longtime friends who have all left their mark on this company. Their presence on May 8th is a reminder that 72 Degrees has always been more than a business — it’s been a family, growing alongside this community.
40 Years, and Fredericksburg is Still Home
From Fredericksburg to Kerrville, Mason to Boerne; the Texas Hill Country has changed a lot since 1986. New faces, new neighborhoods, new generations calling in for the first time. But the foundation hasn’t changed: community, trust, and a genuine commitment to keeping your home comfortable, whatever the season.
