Permitted & Code-Compliant
Every install is 100% code-compliant and permitted. No shortcuts that turn into a failed inspection — or a denied insurance claim — years later.
Whole Home Repiping
Plenty of older Hill Country homes were plumbed in galvanised steel. It corrodes internally, so the pipe looks fine from outside while the bore narrows with rust — which is why pressure drops gradually over years and then a joint lets go without warning.
Repiping is disruptive and it is not cheap. But patching a system that is failing everywhere means paying for the same wall twice, and a leak inside a wall costs far more than the pipe ever did. When a house is at that stage we will say so plainly, and when it is not, we will say that too.
What to Watch For
Usually several of these together.
Corrosion from the inside of the pipe.
The bore narrowing with rust.
The system, not a spot.
Both have known failure patterns.
Restriction as much as distance.
What We Do
Planned, staged and finished properly.
How It Works
Replacing equipment is a big spend. We would rather you make it once, correctly.
If the system has years left, we will tell you that. Replacement gets recommended when the math actually favours it — age, repair history, efficiency and the cost of the next failure.
We evaluate the home, not just the old unit. An oversized system short-cycles and an undersized one never keeps up; both cost you for years.
Permits pulled, work done to code, old equipment hauled away. Rebates and financing handled as part of the job.
We verify performance, register the manufacturer warranty on your behalf, and walk you through the new system.
Save on the work your home needs most.

In many cases, a burst pipe can be repaired without replacing the entire plumbing line. The right solution depends on where the pipe is located, how severe the break is, and what caused it to burst in the first place. For example, a small crack or split in an accessible section of pipe can often be repaired by replacing just that section. In Fredericksburg and throughout the Texas Hill Country, older homes may have pipes made from materials that are more prone to corrosion or freezing damage. If a pipe has burst due to age, repeated stress, or widespread deterioration, a larger section—or even a full line—may need to be replaced to prevent future failures. At 72 Degrees Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing, our plumbers assess the cause and location of the burst and use professional-grade tools and fittings to restore the system safely and reliably.
